Your future role as Partner Sales Manager
Softpay is selling its SoftPOS product through Nordic and European payment partners and your job will be to support existing partners increase sales of SoftPOS and actively build European partnerships in selected countries and verticals. Our goal is build an European ecosystem which can handle the rapid growth of SoftPOS and build an organisation committed to delivering growth with a customer centric focus, and a collaborative mindset
You will be part of the Sales Team, managed by one of the founders of Softpay and you will get responsibility for some of the most important partners. You are a great relationship builder and thrives on achieving ambitious goals in collaboration with your colleagues.
Your key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Accelerate sales with existing partners by co-sell and support their sales activities and by establishing a partner customer pipeline
- Educate and train partners
- Build new partnerships in selected European markets
- Be responsible for developing specific partners and securing a significant pipeline of opportunities and closing the deals
- Review inbound leads and proactive hunting with partner account teams. Ensure stakeholder management regarding the roadmap and channel strategy
What is Softpay looking for?
Softpay is a young company but with highly experienced people in sales and technology. Softpay is looking for an experienced partner sales manager with documented sales results and a can-do attitude.
Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:
- +5 years of experience – core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, and business development – preferably in payments / financial services verticals
- Good partner relationship management and solution development skills
- Experience of working in a channel/partner role
- A reasonable level of technical proficiency as well as good project management skills
- Experience in working in virtual teams across functions and geographies
- Experience in communicating and presenting to large and small audiences in English
- Proficiency in English
- The position is based out of Copenhagen, Denmark
